Many of you know I opened Little Songbird Music Studio nine years ago in the basement of a church. It has been a wonderful adventure, but, sadly, we will be ending classes at the end of the summer and will not be open for the fall, 2017 semester.
This has been a very difficult decision for me, but the combination of my schedule and commute, finances and family obligations make it very difficult to justify keeping the studio going.
I know this is a disappointment to many of you who love our classes and would like to continue! I’m deeply sorry for any inconvenience. At this point, I am trying to find someone who may be able to take over classes. I’ll keep you updated when/if we progress in that direction. Keep an eye on your email later this summer for that.
In the immediate future, our summer classes will continue as scheduled! You will definitely get to use up your punch card if you have one. I do want you to know that Christian Dance Academy is planning to transform our classroom into a lovely dance boutique, and they will begin construction in mid-July. Our final four weeks of summer classes will take place upstairs in the piano studio.
For those of you who are ready to move up into Keyboard 1 — Miss Anna would still like to teach that class for you next year! Please keep an eye on your e-mail over the next few weeks to make sure you get that information.
I hope you will stay in touch! I would love to keep tabs on what your lovely children are up to! If you would like to friend me on Facebook or Instagram I’d love that! You can also see me working with the Linton PB&J concerts, as the music teacher at Northern Kentucky Montessori Academy, or as the vocal coach at Moss Dance Academy. I hope you will let me know how your children are doing as they grow, and how music is an important part of their lives.
Please keep singing, and I wish you and your families all the blessings in the world!
