About Me
Elizabeth Hickerson received her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Louisville in 1999, and her Master’s in the Art of teaching from the same in 2000. Since that time, she has had a variety of teaching experiences, spanning all grade levels. As she taught she saw ample evidence of the importance of early music education, and found that her true passion was helping very young children find their musical voice. Elizabeth also works with the Moss Dance Academy in Ft. Wright, KY as their musical director and teaches voice lessons. She volunteers in the music ministry at her church, and has also sung occasionally with Cincinnati’s Vocal Arts Ensemble. Elizabeth has three young children of her own, Agatha (5), Ginger (3) and Milo (1). She has enjoyed watching her own children find their musical voices through this classes, and is thrilled that they have had the experience. Her husband, Mike, works in campus ministry.
